Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team developing a next-generation neuroscience wearable platform.
This role sits at the intersection of bioinstrumentation, wearable electronics, and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will bring broad expertise across a number of electrical disciplines including analog design, biomedical signal acquisition, embedded systems integration, design-for-manufacturability, and production scaling in a regulated innovation environment.
You will play a critical role in implementing future generations of breakthrough wearable products.
Key Responsibilities
As one of the primary electrical engineers you’ll have a broad role with responsibilities to dive into all aspects of the hardware design and testing including:
Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Design
Wireless communications systems
Wireless power transfer and charging systems
Real-time embedded system design
Power supply and power management
Battery design, specification, and safety
Hands-on building and testing prototypes
Establishing requirements from relevant standards
Performing verification testing
Managing external testing facilities
Developing production electrical testing
Managing design and testing documentation.

Required Qualifications
Self-driven, flexible, and ability learn any part of the hardware design depending upon immediate company need.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years’ experience in mixed signal hardware development including circuit, printed circuit design, and hands-on construction and testing of PCBs and Modules
Experience with design and manufacturing in a regulated environment including design and testing to standards
Hands-on building and testing prototypes
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience
Experience with the following:
Wireless communications systems
Wireless power transfer and charging systems
Real-time embedded system design
Power supply and power management
Battery design, specification, and safety
Background in medical device development
Experience scaling from prototype to manufacturing (DFM/DFT)
Development of production electrical tests
Prior startup or R&D innovation environment experience
